Kellen's first time sitting in a high chair. I still like to think he is still way to young to sit up in a high chair. Well I gotta get over that because he is sure growing up!

I love my bear!

I can't believe how big he is getting! I love that he is so happy all the time!

Kellen really loves his bear! He talks and laughs at his cuddle friend. He falls asleep snuggling his bear and wakes up snuggling his bear. Such a sweet baby!

Kellen's check-ups!

Kellen sure is growing! He got his shots today and wasn't to happy about it. He was so mad!

I am going to post his weight and height since he was born to show you how much he has grown and so we can have it written down for the future. It's always fun to look back. Something funny to remember is Jason and I made a bet before Kellen was born of how much he would weigh. Jason guessed 7 lbs. 11 oz. which was almost right now and I guessed 7lbs. 4 oz. Jason won but Kellen did weigh 7 lbs. 4 oz. when he left the hospital. Funny how that turned out.

Kellen turned 6 months on July 17, 2009. He is getting so big. We love him so much!

Facts about Kellen:

-Has said dadda 3 times but only I have heard it.

Says momma all the time. I love it!

-Loves the water.

-As soon as we lay him on the floor he will roll right onto his stomach.

-Gets really mad that he can't crawl yet.

-Can get up on his hands and knees but won't lift his head while doing that. It is really funny!

-Turns in circles while on his stomach.

-Sits up but eventually will fall over.

-Always wakes up happy in the morning.

-Loves TV. Not good!

-Very tall for his age.

-Really shy and unsure about people he doesn't know.

-Has no teeth.

-Loves to snuggle.

-Still has to be wrapped with one arm out during his naps.

-Loves food. He is a very good eater.

-Loves is momma.

-Very ticklish.

-Laughs a lot.

-Loves his jumperoo.

-Loves to be read and sang to.

-Giggles when Molly (our dog) licks his fingers and toes.

-Sticks out his tongue.

Swimming in the backyard!

Kellen for sure likes the water! Yay! Just playin in the pool in our backyard. So much fun. Thanks Grandma Howard for buying this pool for us!

Kellen keeping us busy is the only thing that helps us stay sane!

Laughing at daddy!

Sitting up on the couch. Eventually going to fall over. Kellen can sit up for a certain amount of time but slumps over soon after. I almost wonder if it's hard for him to sit up because he has a long body so he just wobbles. Sometimes his head still wobbles because his neck is so long.

He wants to crawl so bad but just scoots backwards and in a circle. He gets so mad when he can't go forward after a toy. We sure don't mind him crawling yet. When he does start crawling I think I might vacuum everyday. It grosses me out to think that he will be eating stuff off the floor.

Jason hurt his back 2 1/2 weeks ago and has been living on the floor (sometimes can sleep on the couch). He can't walk, sit or sleep on our bed. He gets surgery hopefully sometime next week. Keep us in your prayers! This is the only way he can really hold Kellen. Kellen just decided that he was going to take a nap on daddy. Man I was jealous!

Loves to SCREAM like a girl!

Kellen's new thing lately is to scream up a storm. Every morning when he wakes up we here him screaming and talking in his bed. I would have to say it's way better than crying. I had to get a picture of him doing it because it's quite funny. Only if you could here it tho.
